Anyone know what material the countertops are made of? I see a reference to "Solid Surface Countertops" in the Bennington brochure, and some other references to "Faux Stone Countertops" in the forums. But I couldn't find anything in the Bennington Owner's Manual on how to care for them.

Wondering who manufactures them, or if they are a proprietary material that Bennington makes in-house.

I have a 2015 boat. Not sure if they still use the same material.

Ours is a solid surface, but what that specifically means, I can’t say. Over seven years, it’s stood up very well. Do you have a specific concern?

Thanks, no specific concern, just want to use the right cleaner. Corian states to use standard household kitchen spray. But Mrs. Meyers Multi-Surface left a residue, especially when I have to clean it in direct sun. I've never had Corian, so just want to make sure I don't inadvertently dull the surface.

We usually just wipe it with a damp cloth and occasionally use Dawn. Thankfully, we haven’t needed anything else.
