Foldaway hinge kit for trailer tongue

I have a Venture trailer with a galvanized steel tongue measuring 2”x4” outside dimensions. Unfortunately no one makes a hinge kit in this size, has anyone done a modification or found a way to use a 3x4” hinge kit on a 2”x4” tongue. Also if anyone has changed the tongue to a 3”x4”, how difficult is the process?

I would suggest taking it (or pictures with measurements) to a welding shop. A friend had one fabricated out of his existing trailer. They cut the tongue and welded a hinge.
