I live on the west coast in Florida and have the fishing package 2022 tri-toon. I looked at portable wash downs to install in the changing room area. The changing room area has none of that, just large area for storing. Love it! So after a lot of shopping I saw a DYI fresh water set up and I did some modification to it and connected it to the battery with a switch and holds 5 gallons. I put a small water proof switch inside the door so when done turn it off. Prefect for size and shape of tank. I did the whole thing under $200 myself. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SGWXB3P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Here are some links of what I used and a video.

Now it's not a pressure washer but great for washdown after swimming, fish guts and blood or whatever. ;-)

Sounds like a nice DIY wash down set up.

I love how you have provided descriptions and LINKS to some of the little things you have personalized with your boat. Makes it very helpful to others that might want to duplicate what you’ve done. Thanks for being a nice contributor!!!

Nice setup. I bought this for our boat. All I need is a jug of water if I’d be on saltwater. I just use our lake water.

I bought this same one, per Semper’s advice back in 2017. Works good. I just really haven’t had user for it. Was a pre-emotive purchase on our part.

How is the spray? Fine Mist? Strong enough to clean lotion off the Simtex? This would be much easier solution than my Dewalt!

Mine has an adjustable tip. It’s pretty strong for the size. Definitely not power washer strength but definitely more powerful than the one in that video.

I only run in freshwater now with the pontoon boat. We are landlocked on a river, but my last saltwater boat had a live bait-well that we were not using. I converted it to a freshwater rinse shower. I installed a very low volume bilge pump and attached to it a 10' flexible hose with a shower head. It really came in handy after diving or rinsing down parts of the boat.
