Anyone know where I can get a replacement piece from? The one I ordered was not the right one. Or can this be deleted?

Greatlakesskipper.com sells some oem Bennington parts . You can also try a local marine store like west marine .

As Jack said your dealer is the best source. This tank top device is a combination tank overfill sender and tank vent. It’s purpose is to prevent embarrassing fuel spillage at the gas docks with side fill boats. Deleting would be in violation of a EPA regulation. Maybe you can fabricate a adapter plate.
