Garmin 53dv gauges

Playing around with the 53dv, I'm finding gauges for things like outdoor temp, wind speed and fuel level that don't give me a reading.


Not that I care about wind speed (and I obviously don't have a sensor for it anyway), but does anyone know what it would take to get outdoor temp and fuel level?  Fuel level might be nice because the Garmin appears to have a setting to alert you when it is low.

The Garmin needs to get that data from existing sensors (if present) via a data bus connection to NMEA 2000. Mine is Mercury, so I added a bridge from the proprietary Mercury SmartCraft (CAN) bus to NMEA 2000 connection on the Garmin. Other engines have something similar.
