Actually, although this is in my neck of the woods, I don't read that news outlet so I missed the story. Glad everyone is OK.

I saw it . Allegedly alcohol involved . Rental boat ( Double Decker ) pulling a tube . Fortunately ,no one was injured
As I have mentioned here several times .All you need is a credit card and you can rent a boat Maybe this will get some attention and get the laws changed for rental requirements

This is not entirely true - some states require class A (non- commercial) licenses to operate motor homes over 26k lbs.
