I have a 2018 23SSBXP with a 175 Yamaha SHO. Would like to be as close to 6000 rpm as possible with light load. All around performance. Like 40 mph or better. Thx Rob

150 hp and above a Stainless is recommended because of prop flex .
On my 23 RCW with an arch ( much heavier boat ) I had a 150 with a 15 X 15 stainless and was able to hit 38 .

Rob, as Jack mentioned SS is normally the choice for larger HP engines but depending on where you boat, aluminum might make sense. I'd recommend talking to Phil at prop.gods.com. He's quite helpful.

If you are asking about my previous RCW is was an SPS . Full tank ,gear ,clean tubes and my wife and I. Also back in 2014 ,the crossmembers were 16 inch on center .They changed a few years ago to 24 on center on all models . The weight of the arch alone was equal to 2 additional people
