This is the little wife, the puppy, and I heading home after an afternoon up the river, relaxing on a sandbar. It a little Yamaha F90. About 3/4 tank of gas, WOT, trimmed to the maximum, and smooth water. The prop is a SS 13P 4 blade, and we're doing 27MPH. That 4 stroke is quiet. I could most likely get another couple of MPH with the 15P 3 blade, but this thing jumps out of the hole with the 4 blade. I know it's slow when compared to those 150s and up, but not bad for a little 90HP. Let me know if the vid doesn't work.

Not bad with a 90! Video worked for me.

Ha! Yeah, I wish! I forgot to reset that from when I was in my Jeep, since the MPG is around 15 in that thing..

Yes I saw it, very nice.  Think I want to get some video of my own boat now

I'll throw these in.

2375GCW Express with strakes on all toons.  Mercury 150 4S.  Top end is about 36 mph :D

CAUTION: wind noise in videos is annoyingly loud...sorry.

On plane at cruise speed (about 24 mph):

Bennington 2375GCW Express Cruise speed

At WOT with 5 persons on board:

Bennington 2375GCW Espress WOT

For the WOT video, I was overtaking the pontoon at about 55mph in the bass boat!

Fantastic! Got her pealed back in those. Thanks for sharing.

Makes mine look like I'm pushing it with a trolling motor. :D

Was playing around with some new video editing software and came across some video footage from last year on my old kodak playsport camera.  It's not the greatest quality but it was only a "test video".  We are just putting along at the start of the video (maybe around 12-15mph) then decided to stretch her legs coming back across the lake.  Ok i lied it was only 38.9 and not actually 40 but we were real close :D :D

Indian LB, it's amazing that you don't have any more wake than that. Is that because of the tri-toon? I thought it would leave as much as my double toon. I was waiting for you to crank it up, but you were already into it. I had to go back and see where I missed the 40 MPH. Wow!

Mine seems to throw more water out the back as well.

Ok, Indian.... based on lakeliving's and my response, you  better than that boat back to the dealer. It's defective! :D

Well the camera isn't shooting directly behind the boat......maybe 7-8 foot out the back by the time it comes into camera view.  The camera was on a suction cup mount stuck to the center of the table.....I know pretty bad location for good video.

Our boat never really throws a big wake....not sure why.  Could be the tri-toon with the sps package (lifting strakes down the center toon and strakes/foils on the inside of the outer toons) and the under skinning that could calm down the wake.

Maybe we will have to try a new round of video's this year with the gopro and a new mount location.

Went back through the memory card from the kodak playsport and found this quick video.  It's shout right out of the stern gate at the motor to see how much wake it creates at roughly 18-20mph (our normal cruise speed).

We have SPS on our 21SLX with a 150 Yamaha and our wake is not big either. As a matter of fact, it makes a bigger wake slower and down lower in the water. We are super impressed with the design of our Benni.  :)

I posted this in my build thread, but here it is again in case you missed it!

enjoyed it again :)

I enjoyed it again, too. Thanks for sharing.

A quick docking gopro video....same suction cup table mount used in other video's.  Yes our docks are a bit on the tight side....between buildings and also when a lift is installed you only have 3-4 inches on each side of the boat clearance.  I want to try and mount the camera on the bimini frame a little higher up than the table next time.

Smooth as silk!  Good job. Got a good 1st mate, too! Thanks for sharing.
