Never been there but most Alpine lakes in that area are beautiful. It says the lake is at 7 thousand feet. That's 2 thousand above Tahoe. So it should be very nice. Be sure to wear more sunscreen than u are used to. And hydrate more than your used to. The sun at that elevation is Brutal. And the Air is dryer so you dehydrate quicker than at sea level. My last trip to Tahoe I didn't take my own advice and I was sunburned to hell and dehydrated. Have fun and be sure to post pics
