Absolute gorgeous day in Carolina today! Might make it to 70 later! Went down to the boat and gave the 150 another coat of Cerakote ceramic paint sealant! Ready for summer!

Nice! Never heard of Cerakote. Just Googled it. BigKahuna did you just use the spray on? And just the Motor or the whole Boat? Thanks!

Just the motor today! I bought Cerakote to do my truck and my wife's car and had some leftover in the bottle. I have done 2 coats on the motor so far. I will do all the panels on the boat when I have more time!

Yes just spray it on. Use a microfiber towel to wipe it in to make sure you do not miss any areas then use a 2nd microfiber (included) to buff it. A very simple process with good results! I bought this product to kind of refresh the ceramic coating that came with our new truck in 2023. It's very inexpensive compared to other higher quality ceramic paint sealants on the market. I have 2 coats on my truck as well as my wife's car and I'll check on the longevity of the product in a few months! I have two coats on my Mercury also. But I've waxed that motor at least twice a year since I've had it, so it has a good base! We'll see if that paint sealant really does last when summertime comes....

Yes Jack I just started using it and I have 2 coats on it so far! I'll find out next summer how the water spots are. I haven't had any trouble with water spots up to this point. I've waxed it at least 2 times a year since we got it in 2020!
