Lubricate captains chairs?

My 2011 R series pedestal chairs do swivel, but it seems like it takes more effort than should be required. Any suggestions other than eating more Cheerios?

Do you have the locks loosened ? I keep the one on my helm chair loose so it swivels freely. It's either a screw or a lever. Hope this helps. Honeynut Cheerios are also a good idea.

Thanks for the reply C&S. The levers, tightening screws appear to be free. Time to call the dealer I guess - and head to the grocery store. Thanks for the culinary tip!
