Mercury 250 prop shaft info.

I have a Bennington L23 with a Mercury 250 s4 basically a standard all black 250 4 stroke with a 1.25 prop shaft. I was wondering if anyone knows what the threads are for the prop shaft as I have to chase them with a die because of a nick on the threads. Some say they are 3/4-16 but they weren't sure. Thanks for any input.

You can give Mercury a call .I don't have the number with me but you can do a search in the upper right corner.
Have your serial number ready if you call.

Just got off the phone with Mercury and the guy I talked to cannot find that information so I will call some local mechanics to see if they can tell me.

Ken from prop Gods gave me the needed info. as the shaft is 3/4-16 thread.
