Due to supply chain issues it took Mercury marine about a year and a half to replace the lower unit and motor casing on our 150 under warranty due to what they believe was a paint defect.....Screenshot_20220222-161456.pngScreenshot_20220222-161509.pngScreenshot_20220222-161627.pngIMG_20220222_131000811.jpgIMG_20220222_131035848.jpgIMG_20220222_131011219.jpg

Glad you finally got it. That’s a heck of a wait right there.

Yeah we didn't even think about it last summer. It didn't affect performance or anything so we didn't think about it. We always knew we'd get it. It was just a matter of when.....

Congrats BK, looking good!

Mercury's had some chronic paint issues in the past few years - even some of the new V8's have blistering paint on the mounting bracket, but the good news is it appears they are standing behind their warranty and making owners whole. Great to see an American company with mostly USA made engines putting out a great product.

Whatever my next boat is will be sure to have a Merc on the back!
