Mildew

I have some mildew stains on my Bimini top and have tried washing it to no avail. I am afraid to use anything harsh like bleach but I reallly want to get the black mildew off of my tan top. Anyone have any help or suggestions.

Lots of sun.  I had to leave mine up for 2+ weeks when cover was being repaired and it seemed to clean it up quite a bit.

Be careful.... I bought this because of all the great things I've read. It works but use sparingly or on test section first. I think it removed some paint of a plastic base section I tried it on.  ps: it smells a lot like bleach to me.

Just use a diluted bleach and water solution. Been using it for years w/no damage. 


Just take a spray bottle and put an ounce of bleach in it and the rest clean water. Mix well and spray on mildew and let it sit for a few minutes. Rinse w/clean water and wipe with a towel. If mildew doesn't disappear try it again or try a stronger solution. It works.......Ive used it on the seats/carpeting/Bimini boot.......
