Sitting on the couch last evening, watching some television while my wife was scrolling through her iPad. She looked at me and said, "I think I've found our upgraded pontoon!" She showed me a video of it. It was truly loaded, oh, and BTW, it had a 300 Merc perched on the back. I said "now, we really don't need a 300. A 150 will do just fine". She said if we are going to upgrade, we need to "upgrade".   My eyes Widened!  Isn't she a sweet wife?

Your next step...run immediately to the nearest Bennington dealer and close the deal before she changes her mind!!!

I actually had originally planned on getting the Yamaha F-300 V-6. My wife was the one who said "get the 350."  I quickly got my order in before she could change her mind.

My wife is the same way until she sees the actual cost. Ha! I seem to be the more fiscally conservative one when it comes to boats........

We started window shopping. We are really drawn to the 23GCW. We love the floor plan; two loungers facing bow and two facing stern. Thinking about the SPS with the F150.  Someone talk my out of it. I'm also wondering what I could get for my current boat. 2015 20SLX with the F90, and a few addons.

LL, It will be on the trailer when not in use since we don't live on the water.... yet. I was thinking about that since our aluminum toons stain very bad from the Pearl River swamp that feeds our reservoir. I guess that is what you're talking about, being a white in color.

Is the dry weight really 5500?  That seems very heavy, my 2375 rcw with 250 on it weighs about 3000lbs dry.

That's what the specs state. Just under 5500#. That would be a heavy vessel behind my Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Not familiar with that brand at all but it sounds like it's built like a tank.I would definitely see how it performs with a 150 as that might be a bit under-powered. It would be interesting to see how those powder-coated toons look like after a few years of use.

Our local dealer sold Premier for a long time, very fine boats to be sure. They used some sort of coating on the toons and I think every one of those boats still on the lake has horrible a looking finish - scratches, stains,  peeling spots, etc. even when lift kept. Not for me.
