We received our warranty replacement mooring cover yesterday. Cleaned it today (just in case) and sprayed it with the last of our 303 Marine Protectorant. It’s drying now in our yard. Dealership is sending a guy out next Tuesday to put the snaps on for the front and back so as to snap it to the deck. The side clips were pre-installed.
Initial thoughts: Both my wife and I believe the new Ecolite material Bennington started using this year to be much lighter than the older OEM Surelast material. We thought it was a noticeable difference in weight, which my wife in particular really likes. Over time we will see how this new material holds up. Hopefully it will overall hold up better than our original mooring cover. I might add a pic next week once the snaps are in place and we can use it to cover the boat. Until then, the original cover will have to suffice for a few more days.
