Hi All,

Just bought a 2017 25 RSRA (Sport Arch) tritoon and can't wait to get it on the lake!  I am having some issues getting hoist quotes from local marinas (looking at Shorestation and Shoremaster).  The issue I keep running into is the height of the canopy.  The concern from the marinas is that with the arch the canopy legs won't be tall enough and I will have to lower the arch when I need to lift the boat out of the water.  My lake (Burt Lake in MI) can get choppy so there will definitely be times that I will need to lift the boat high.  I have to believe there is a solution to this.  Any one else have this set up?  Thoughts are really welcomed!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on a beautiful boat. Jack is an active member on here and boats up that way. He has a red R with an arch but no lift.

What do the wakeboard boats do? I don't think my neighbor lowers his arch on his mastercraft everytime. I think he has a Max brand lift. I have a craftlander lift and they have different leg options as well as posts that hold the canopy up. I'm sure they could help you out. They are in Roscommon.

My Shorestation canopy has zippers on the front and back so that any arched boat can go in or out, same with a wake boat. I don't have a shot with the end rolled up, but the vertical zippers are on the corners (in black). The 3 straps and snaps just hold the rolled up end flap in place.

Is the goal to leave the arch up 24/7?

First, congratulations on the new purchase.  Sounds like a fantastic boat!!!  I have a nucraft lift on order, largely due to both dealer recommendations, Lakeliving's personal experiences with them, and the fact they are local to my lake:  Houghton Lake, MI.  With you being on Burt Lake, they may be worth contacting directly.  Also, I would PM Jack.  As Lakeliving shared, he is up on Burt Lake, so he likely has a lot of advice and information he can share.

Best of luck getting it all figured out.  There must be many options for lifts that accommodate sport archs.  Seems like it would be too much of an oversight or missed market for people like Shoremaster, Shorestation, or potentially NuCraft...

Thanks everybody.  The goal is not to have it up 24/7 but I also don't want to lower it every day.  I will call Nucraft and see what options they have.  Any idea how to PM Jack?  Would love to get his thoughts on this.

Welcome proctorb! Pictures and specs when you get the chance. Beautiful place to boat, if I don't say so myself. And, yes, go green!

Will post pics when I get a chance.
