I Just put money down on a 2011 20sli with a 50hp Yamaha. Any tips for a soon to be owner?

Welcome. Just try to keep the grin off your face at the wrong times. For example, when your boss is chewing you a new one and you let your mind wander to thoughts of spending the days on your new 'toon; THAT'S a bad time to grin! :p
 
I just did the same with a 20' SLI w/ 40 HP yamaha 4 stroke. Can't wait to get on the water!
 
We got our 20SLi back in october, midnight black, 25" toons, upgraded captains chair and the 50hp Yamaha. It's been in the storage shed all winter, have'nt had it on the water yet, and i'm getting pretty tired of waiting. so come on warm weather! Congrats on your new boat, and welcome aboard! Maybe all of us SLi owners should start our own thread so we can share our love for the 'little' boats!

I would highly reccomend upgrading your Yamaha to the 70 hp.

You will be glad you did. I look forward to your pics of your new boat!

Congrats on your new boat. Bennington sure is selling alot of S series.
