Hello my 2004 Bennington was running fine then suddenly electrical went out and the motor quit. It has a 2004 Mercury 4 stroke EFI. Zero power to trim also. Running lights and accessories are working.
I believe there is an electrical disconnect somewhere. Battery is good. I checked wires on the motor, nothing looks frayed and harnesses look good. Anyway that's the story.
What to do? Where to look next?

If the battery is good ,there are many possibilities .Check the
master power switch ,circuit breakers , fuses ,kill switch ,rodents chewing wires under deck .

Thank you. Will do and report back.
There is a 5 amp fuse near your battery that has blown. Mine did the same thing and is currently getting repaired, it protects the motor. They had to order a part and will be ready this week.
When I get it back I’ll let you know what it was.
Getting fixed under warranty, a 2020 250 Mercury

Grandson got hold of my kill switch over this past weekend and when we went to leave, no trim or start. I was a bit confused at first but quickly discovered what had happened, re-engaged the kill switch and we were off into the sunset. Good luck!
