Old boat, new fish finder

Hi all
I just bought my first boat. A 2004 22' FS with an 04 Yamaha 90 4 stroke.
She came with a Garmin 85 fish finder that must have been installed at factory because the console seems to be molded around it.
Any suggestions what to replace it with?
The other problem is the old ff has a vertical orientation where most new ff have a horizontal orientation.

The best I could come up with Lowrance on top of console. I would rather have something surface mounted.

Call Garmin ,they can tell you what may fit ,and if you have to cut they will email you a templet .They were a great help when I changed mine on my 2014. Dont forget to ask about the transducer and the cable

I replaced my F85 with a 551dv. It's a semi-surface mount, but Garmin has moved on from it to the Striker series that Jack mentioned.

There are surface mount adapters for the Striker but you'll have difficulty with the install because your dash is molded around the shape of the F85, which is something I didn't have to deal with.
