Oops.

That's a "demo" now ;-)

Nelsons and lakeside motor sports are now the same. Lakeside is where I bought my current boat. Now you can see the talent I was trying to deal with when getting repairs made.... I've never been to the Lansing show, always zip down to Detroit.

When they merged, looks like they got rid of the wrong people .

Good call. You can do the Lansing show in 10 minutes. I go because it's less of a hassle to take my grandson.

Snap a few pics for us GoldenRod

Dealers Here Seem To Be Opting For Their Own Open Houses

At Their Dealerships

They Feel That The Cost To Participate In The Boat Shows Could Be Better Utilized Elsewhere

We have seen the Boat Show go from Pittsburgh to a smaller Venue in the suburbs

Sad Really

Not Sure If I will even bother

I checked and Bennington Is Not Even Represented This Year

We Only Have Three Rivers and Multiple Lakes In The Tri - State Area

I Guess They Know Their Business Better Than Me :)

Frankenmuth show is probably bigger than these and I don't know if they still do them but I went to a boat show in charlevoix a number of years ago. It was definitely a smaller show. Just dealers from the traverse city to Petoskey areas. Traverse city has a smaller show also. Of course most shows would be smaller compared to Detroit shows.

How was the boat show? Anything good to see?

It was a small show, but Bennington was represented. There was a boat there that I call the "euchre boat." I didn't catch the model designation and I can't find it in the '16 catalog. Behind the helm is a table with 3 seat surrounding it. Swivel the helm seat and 4 people can sit around the table. And play euchre.

It has a nice bow area.

I really liked the white primary color with blue accents. Very nautical.

Finally, my grandson had a ball!

Thanks, Tom.He brought home a catalog and every night asks his folks to read his "favorite book." Let the tradition continue!

Nice GoldenRod.  Boating certainly does keep the family together.  One of my best friends put in a pool about 10 years ago and his grown up kids started coming back and hanging out but that only lasted about a year.  Five years ago he then bought a lakehouse near me and of course a Bennington pontoon and I see his 3 grown up kids most every weekend with their significant others

OK, I have a correction to make. This layout can be found in the catalog on page 16. It's called a "dinette" layout.
