I have an '05 bennington since 2013 that has always had some bad looking paint even though the topside of the boat is near perfect. Finally this year I saw a video on Youtube of a product called White Diamond, in use cleaning an older benny like mine. You can view the video on Facebook by searching for WHITE DIAMOND PONTOON. It worked perfectly as advertised. I applied with an electric polisher and a fine foam 7" pad...man it really cut thru the oxidation, removing it all! Now my '05 looks great and I couldn't be more pleased. The only downside is that you'll get some splatter from the polisher, so I put down cardboard to keep any product from hitting the floor, but it did get a bit on the topsides of the benches, and undersides of the railings....so about another 30 minutes cleanup afterwards...no biggie for me, and it wasn't an excessive amount at that. Best 15 bucks I've ever spent on my boat.

Good to know. I have two panels being replaced on my boat, one on each side so I’m sure I’ll have to buff the neighboring panels so it looks right. I’ll have to give this a try.

I used to wax the crap out of my panels on my 2004 Bennington but they still faded. Plus when I used to clean off the black streaks that used to run down from the dirt/rain some of the paint used to come off with it. That is why I had the boat vinyl wrapped......
