What is the best way to run a power line from the battery box to the helm ?
Is there a chase that it can be pulled through ?
 
The prevailing wisdom is to use the existing holes in the deck at helm and stern to run new wires. If you have a wave shield then you can access from the side by removing the side skirt and use fishtape, hooks etc to run them. It's just open area between the toons and deck.
 
Yes, and definitely completely wrap in wire loom or even smurf tubing to protect from abrasion
