Pulling a tube

I have a 2021 20SVL with 60 HP motor. I was wondering if I can pull a tube with two small children using a Y harness attached to the U bolts on back of the boat that are used to tie the boat down to the trailer? The kids are 6 years old so I am not looking for a fast thrilling ride. Just something fun for them to do . Will the Y harness work or should I be getting a Turbo swing or ski tower instead? I was looking for the cheaper option ( if safe to do so ) since pulling the kids on a Pontoon with a 60HP motor probably wont be fun for to many years. ( picture is the same set up I have except I have the 60hp motor)

The safe thing to do is to invest in something that's purpose made to tow skiers, inflatables, etc.

But if you're cheap like me, you check out what's available and if you think it will hold you roll the dice. I use those lifting eye bolts with a tow harness but mine are closer to the center line of the transom. Hasn't failed (yet).

If I need to tow a boat I'll run the lines through the eye bolts and tie them off at the stern cleats, spreading the load over 4 points. You could do the same with a tow rig if you're nervous about using just the lifting eyes.
