My wife got the front bimini stanchion caught on the mooring whip and bent it.

I think I could buy a replacement stanchion from a Bennington dealer.

Or if someone knows where to find the aluminum extrusion it would be easy enough to cut to length and re-use the existing end fittings. I think that might be the less expensive route.

You might want to check your dealer. Many times they will have damaged frames that you might be able to get a piece from.

ouch! Can't believe that it bent like that and didn't put some twist in the other pieces it is attached to, or did it? It kind of hard to tell but the bar the bracketed end looks like it might have rotated outwards as well. If it didn't that just goes to show how well these frames are built. With enough torque on that one to bend it like that I would have thought for certain there would be damage to the bracket and pins as well as the bar its attached to.
