For those of you that have a lift and those that trailer are lucky!

This is our 3rd season of keeping our Benny in the water in a slip........No lift. Took the cover off and my wife and I noticed a ring on the water line and the outdrive and transducer was full of "Stuff". So we went to the local Benny marina and filled up. ($3.49 a gallon ethanol free) Then we went to a No Wake zone cove jumped in and got to work. Took us about an hour and a half using scotchbrite pads to scrub it clean. Even got my fat head in between the center and outer tubes to clean what I could reach.

Then had a nice nap on the sunpad. Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh...................

So I envy you guys w/a lift or trailer.............just put it back on the lift or trailer and towel it off......Done.

Yup 2nd year on the current coats of Sharkhide but the boat has been in the water since mid April and we havent had a chance to get in and clean because the water temp has been a bit chilly. So almost 2 months of that crap accumulating on the tubes and outdrive was a little harder coming off than I thought......

On Lake Norman. I'm back!  Picked up our boat yesterday. I know.... pictures.

I will next week. I need to clean it up. After it was rigged and detailed it sat outside for 3 weeks and with all the rain, there was a lot of splatter. Didn't notice it until I was putting the cover on last night. Did drive around enough last night on the way home and after dinner tonight to get past the 2 hour putt around mark. Will try it out late Sunday as we have to leave her again for an out of town wedding.

Congrats! Saw a lot of Benny's today everywhere we went.  A lot of regatta blue ones out there on this lake. I'll keep my eyes open for your black w/smokey granite one.
