Sea Test and First Photos

Took our new baby out for a sea test on Sunday afternoon.  Temperatures were in the low 60's with a brisk North East wind which gave us a bit of chop.  The boat handled flawlessly and just impressed the living daylights out of us.  As you can tell from my wife's picture, she was certainly in her happy place.  Before we arrived our dealer took this little video.  Video of our New Boat


A few small tweaks and adjustments needed by the dealer and we'll be all set.  Will bring her over to our marina early next week and we'll be off to the races.

Looks GREAT teampitzer.  Hard to keep up with knowing the floor plans every year when new models and options come out.  Am I correct that you added the options of 2 bow gate seats [fore & aft] and the stowable sun lounge?


I would imagine the sun lounge can be used front or back and how easy to set up/take down?

Wow, great looking boat.  The R captains chairs look amazing.  How strong do you think the sun lounge is? will Kids be able to climb all over it, or does it need to be treated in more of an adult fashion?  Also, can that be added to my older boat, or is that a factory set up only?

Yes, we chose the extra gate seats both bow and stern.  It really wasn't that expensive to go with the extra seat and we felt like it added a lot of value for what we wanted.  It not using one of the seats, it can easily be moved to the side gate.  

The sun lounge was a must have for the Mrs and as you can see, she went right to it when we took it on the sea test.  Unfortunately it can only be used in the front as there are channels that the aluminum supports fit into that gives it the needed stability.


Bardoa5...these are pretty darn strong.  I certainly wouldn't throw myself on to them will full body force but I wouldn't hesitate to sit on them at 230lbs.  I don't believe you can add this feature after the fact but I can't swear to it.

That's good to hear.  I'll show it to the boss and see if this means we have to add an upgrade before docking it for the first time

Nice looking boat! I'm sure you will enjoy it. In our situation, we need acess to the front and rear deck since we do a lot of docking at various restaurants, and so that layout would not work for us. But it certainly looks great on your boat.

Any pics of your boat yet?   Signing the paperwork on mine thursday, but probably won't take delivery til after next weekend as I'll be out of town all next week brining my sportfishing boat up from fla.

We have signed the paperwork at dealer, paid in full, scheduled launch for May 14th.  They didn't show it to us, still under factory shrink wrap and I didn't want to disturb her sleep.
