Long time follower, first time poster. And, we just picked up our first Bennington yesterday (S21 21SF).

Found a few threads related to the seat cushion, but for $30,000 you need to remove the seat cushion and table to travel? Really?

Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all!

Would you rather lose them? There is just so much you can do with hinges for corner seats and locks for tables. Just put them in the helm or changing area when towing. On the water they are fine. Welcome to the forum.

Bcpnick had a cheap and innovative way to secure a seat cushion with a strap...

Naturally, I don't want to loose it. I was just very shocked for that much money you need to remove the one seat cushion for traveling. The table, I understand (to a point).

Hi Yellowfinch and welcome to the club. I have a 21SFX and only remove the table top and put it in the changing room but I do not remove the cushions and I have never had a problem on this model with the cushions during travel,  I also have the trolling motor door on the front. So it is pretty open on the front.

We never use our table so I don't have to worry about taking that out. As for the cushion, there is one we have to remove. I'm more of a better safe than sorry kind of guy.

Welcome To The Bennington Family

All I can say is get use to frustration

It never stops, built Benny 3 years ago and still feeling the stress

Owning a boat is amazing

There will always be these little frustrations

BUT

The rewards are incredible

Once on the water you forget the incidentals

Personally,  we don't remove the table or seat,  but,  we are lucky.  We have a 5-7 minute drive to launch and never break 25 mph to get there.  Slow in-town streets.
