That’s hilarious! I’ve been doing some research and have showed my photos to some in the upholstery industry. I’ll continue to gather my evidence but so far it has confirmed my thoughts....:cool:
 
I’m waiting for my northern forum brothers to get their boats out that have the soft touch vinyl like mine and send me some comparison photos. I’ll swing by the dealer as well and see how they sew the simtex. Good idea!

I'll have a look as soon as I can get to the boat. Probably not until the middle of April.
