Shore lift capacity of 3000 pounds enough for 2080 pontoon?

Question. I have a 2006 2275 Fsi . The specs show weight of 2080 pounds with the 115 hp motor. I am looking at a used vertical lift rated at 3000 pounds. Shore station 30108 with electric lift master. The owner says he used it on 24 and 18 ft Bennington. The 24 was too long but he says 22 ft is ok. Thoughts

2080 boat + 400 engine + 300-500 fuel, supplies, people, you're fast approaching the limit. I have a 2275RCW/250 with ESP and use a 6000# ShoreStation hydraulic, but I'd go with 3600-4000# for your boat. Yes, I'm conservative, but I've had cables snap several times on my previous lifts and it's VERY dangerous when it happens. Honestly, it scares the heck out of you.
