I have a 2011 2275 GCW with a Yamaha F115TLR. It currently has an aluminum 13 1/2 x 15-k prop on it and I’m looking to go stainless for more holes shot. I’m not sure what stainless prop to go with to maintain my 5800 to 6k rpm range. Anyone gone through the trial and error yet?
Stainless doesn't necessarily mean more hole shot. Hole shot has more to do with pitch than the type of metal the prop is made of. It also has a lot to do with the rake, cup and the number of blades the prop has.
G series boats are fairly heavy, and the 115 is borderline as far as feeling the difference between stainless and aluminum.
