Support posts added for power bimini top

Thought I would share a couple pics of the rear support posts I added to my power top. This was done so that I wouldn't have to lower it all the way down to take the bimini cover off and put it back on (PITA) and so water that may get in the bimini boot could drain out easier.   Basically I wanted it to sit like all the manual tops do.

Before installing them I fully opened the bimini and found I had to move the trailer support bracket up the frame a few inches to make the new support pole connect correctly.   I'm debated putting the trailer posts back on since I never use them (no trailer).  In the pictures the brackets are still attached.  The new posts weren't curved like the rest of the posts, but it's not something I was concerned with.  For support at higher speeds the dealer had already added the front support posts and bent them while they had the boat so those are curved. They aren't extended in the pictures, but you can see them.

Thanks.
