Table squeaks when rotated

Whenever we rotate our table (rectangle table with zebrawood finish), there is one heck of a squeak. Is there any type of lubricant that should be used that is safe for aluminum? I'd prefer a dry lubricant since I don't want grease dripping onto the floor in the heat or to get onto our hands and eventually onto the seats. Or is there something else we should do to eliminate the squeak?

Thanks.

Is the squeek coming from the top of the table where it connects to the pole or the bottom of the table where it goes into the floor? Either way you can grease either end then wipe the excess off so it won't drip. You can use a WD40 type product or some kind of dry white lithium grease spray.

Mine has the same squeak coming from the top of the table. I think it's where the table touches the round pole underneath. I haven't tried anything yet, but it's on my list. I have some white lithium grease for my garage door that may work.
