We are looking for a temporary boat cover to cover the interior space for short durations (a few hours, overnight) without putting the whole cover back on. I have some folks with runabouts who have one with elastic that just slips over the boat. I am having trouble finding something similar for the pontoon. I am hoping to find something that is easy on and off without having to fiddle with all of the snaps of the factory cover.

Thoughts?

I've heard of boaters using bed linens to just cover the seats.

Thank you!

We do that and towels as well. When we return, though, especially if it is overnight, we find that they have blown off in one direction or the other. We will continue that practice until we have a better idea.

I use the factory cover without the poles and half of the railing snaps attached.
We do exactly what Todd does. Probably don’t even use close to half the snaps. For light and temporary, it works great and is pretty easy and quick to do once you kind of have a set routine. I can do that in 5-10 minutes tops. If there is no rain or bad weather in the forecast, I can leave it covered for days and days that way as well.
