Bennington says that you shouldn't trailer your boat with the mooring cover in place.  So, what manufacture makes a quality cover for trailering?

The best ones are custom made for your boat by a local canvas shop.  Mine is twice as heavy and 1.5 times more expensive than the mooring cover it replaced.  It has a zipper to split it in half for ease of installation.  There are pictures in my gallery.

Whatever you do, do NOT buy one from National Boat Covers. They advertise them as trailerable and 'semi-custom' but they don't even come close to either and despite their claim of accepting returns and 'guaranteed fit', they do not do either. I got burned about $500 on that purchase and I'll still probably end up getting a custom one made locally.

I cant believe you would accept that service. I'd have the owner on the phone and be working something out. Trust me, who ever you talked to has a boss, and that person has a boss as well. Work your way up the ladder and you'll eventually reach someone making more than $8 an hour that will make it right. Idiots typically answer the phone, brains tell the idiots what to do.

No such luck. I went as high as I could get and then my wife tried too. Turns out they have a big fat F with the BBB and are well known to deny any and all attempts at returns. They weren't even pretending to be nice, they basically just told me to go to hell. They have 26k+ 5-star reviews on their website but guess what... you can't add one! Hmmm, just a bit rigged, me thinks. It's basically a scam if you ask me. I *think* we sent in our credit card dispute (need to check with wife), but haven't heard anything back.

Wow. I'd dispute that for sure. Almost sounds like a severe case of misrepresentation or even fraud.
