This conversation was started in another post, but I thought it was worthy of it's own Topic.  If I'm wrong, please let me know and I'll continue it on the initial thread.

My 2013 Yamaha 300 is a V6, which I believe is the only engine that is referred to as a F300.  I'm not aware of a newer or older V8 300hp model.  On the Yamaha trailer supports, it states to use one, unless it's a V8, then use two.  The accompanying instructions state to use 2 for the F300 and F350's.  I have been cautioned to be aware of a grease zerk that may interfere on the starboard side.  I looked around and have not found any zerk that could interfere, so I believe I should use two supports.  I'm sure that I'm putting way too much effort into this matter, but I'm a newbie to outboards and especially the bigger ones.

Does anyone see or know of any interference's that I do not see? (Please excuse the spider webs, my cleaning lady only works in 70 degree+ weather)

If your not damaging anything by having 2. I don't forsee any issues with using 2. Had the grease zero not been in the way I would have used 2 even though I could get by with 1 on my 250SHO.

Jared, did you sell yours with the boat? Also...how about those ez fenders.....

OMG...do you have a bug at my house? Seriously... I was out side with my daughter taking out stakes (we sold her Playset last Friday). I grabbed a sledge hammer... on the shelf is my old "boat bag". It fell off the shelf...I opened it to see what was in it...
