Recently purchased my first Bennington, 2014 24slx3. Came with a new Tumacs ecoelite cover. The cover has zero water repellent properties and the fit is below expectations. Suggestions for waterproofing or a better material for water resistance?

The Ecolite covers are meant to be lightweight and breathable. You can use UV spray protectant (like 303) to add pretty nice water repellency to it. That is what most of us do. They fight extra tight as they loosen with time. This is probably even more true with it being a replacement cover. Give it a season or two, and it should be a much better fit, but it takes time.
The other option is going full professional replacement like Jack mentioned above with Sunbrella fabric. If you do that, you can probably add in some custom features if you have some in mind (zipper access to dash, or things like that.
