I have read about bad luck or a process for renaming a boat, I want to un-name my boat rather than renaming it. Bad luck? Opinions? I purchased my 2016 Bennington last year and don't care for the name (seems personal to previous owner(s).
 
At least you didn't do it last Friday .

Try a hair dryer. Then WD40 to remove the left over glue.

I decided to wait until after this potential hurricane to pull my boat out of water - maybe next weekend and begin chapter one of "curse of un naming a boat". Central Florida could be impacted.

Use a heat gun. Easy quick process!
 
I’m supposed to play a round of golf at StreamSong Thursday. Probably a no go now. Stay safe my west coast boating friends.

You stay safe as well! We are on the Polk County / Osceola County line - praying for all in Florida and Georgia and beyond! As a native Polk County resident, I am darn tired of these storms.
