What UV protection seems to work best in preserving the painted playpen panels on our Bennies? I know that 303 Protectorant works great on a lot of surfaces, is painted aluminum one of them?

Thank you.

I use auto products like eagle one wax as you dry or things of the like.

Definitely wax your panels with your favorite wax........Meguiars, Turtle Wax, Nu finish, etc. etc.......Doesn't matter as long as you regularly do it!

+1 Rockie, I use wax and dry on all the cars also. No haze to miss ever and even keeps the rails and stainless looking good. The dried salt spray rinses off with the hose and leaves no spots. Best of all, done in 15-20 min.

I use Mothers Marine

I have always used Mothers for the panels and have been very happy with it.

One of my neighbors, a long time boater gave me a can of 3M marine liquid wax with scotchgard and told be to try it on my helm and motor.  WOW, my helm looked like the day I accepted the boat.  I may have to try this in the panels next spring

I've been using the Eagle One Wax as you Dry for the past 3 seasons.  Seems to work well.

Spar-toon, thank you for your response and I love the color combination.  Your toon looks mean, yet very classy!

Don't laugh, but how do you think the rails would hold up if you were putting on and removing rod holders?

Tried some over the weekend jack and it worked great.  Thanks for sharing.

Would you guys suggest that wax on a new boat in its first year or start next season?  I imagine it wouldn't hurt to start early?

I'm planning on waxing my new boat.

Wax it new. Most lakes have hard water.

Good deal, I'll put this stuff on next time I'm at the boat!  Thx guys.
