Has anyone else have a problem with water in the center ESP toon?

The boat is 2250 GSR with ESP center toon with ski locker but no center toon fuel tank with a 250 vmax SHO

Pulled the boat out for the winter and got it all cleaned up and winterized but when backing into the barn I heard water sloshing around. The water is in the center toon between the ski locker and the motor mount.  The boat is stored on a lift during the summer with all the toons out of the water. The boat has never been left uncover in the rain and the ski locker is bone dry. The boat has been sitting in the barn for 2 weeks now and no water spots on the floor and I did not see any cracked welds or damage to the toon.

Anyone have any ideas how the water got in? Could it have came from the top?  Hard to see with wave shield

Its at the dealer to see if they can find the leak

Surprise is that you would think that the leak would allow the water to come out as easy as it went in.

Since it hasn't , the crack has to be higher up on the toon maybe above the water level as it sits but allowing water to penetrate when in motion.

Sad to hear on a 2014, best news ofcourse is with the 7 year warranty all should be good for next years Boating Season.

Keep us posted on what you find

My center toon has the fuel cell in it and it drains out when I put it on the trailer, my center storage never gets wet unless it gets rain or all the wet kids/dogs across the deck. I'm sure your dealer will find the answer, just a PIA till you get to that point! Keep us posted!

Just dropped the boat off at the dealer last night. They are going to work on it in Monday so not sure now much water is it the toon yet

Got a call from my dealer today about the water in the center toon. The found water in the nose cone and chamber in front of the motor both spots have pin hole leakes in them.  Solution is drill a hole to let the water out of both spots and weld the pin holes and the drill holes. Hope it all works out and no more leaks. Guess I will find out next spring.

Sounds like an easy fix. I'm sure it will be fixed like new. Did you ask the dealer how they went about finding the spots? Just wondering how they go about finding a leak.

They presuerized the toon and spayed soapy water on all the welds until they seen the soap bubble up.
