Wave shield question

I am getting ready to install a wave shield or under skin on my 2250. Does any one know the thickness of aluminum they use from the factory? I want to keep it as light as possible, but also do not want to have to replace later if it gets all bent up. I was thinking about 1/16th of a inch would work.

How does adding aftermarket parts effect the Bennington warranty. I bought a leftover 2011 and would have liked some options that were not already on it but was told that to add or alter would void the warranty

I talked to the folks at Bennington last year and was told that as long as it was installed to where it did not compromise the construction integrity, warranty would not be affected.

I am using .050 5052 aluminum. Dropped 3 sheets off at a sheet metal shop this moring with my drawings. Found the 5' X 8' sheets at a scrap yard, 3 sheets = $125.00
