It's finally raining, and I hope it rains like this all night. Our Rez is about 15" too low, and it makes for some jittery boating (I just got my boat out of the shop from last weekend's mishap).

Is your waterway/lake/reservoir getting some good rain water?

Mayo Lake down about two feet. Typical for this time of year. Have to check the dock tomorrow to make sure the stern is not grounded. Makes shore navigation challenging but not like -15 would.

Lake Normans water level is a good 6 feet low maybe more. It could rain for a week straight and it wouldn't be enough. Just hope it replenishes itself this winter with the rain and snowfall in the mountains.....

Yeah our lake is low also!

Did get some rain yesterday with more expected over the weekend.  We are currently about 8" of rain down.

Our lake is the lowest it has been in years for this time of year.  there is now talk about pulling the docks out a little early :(

Lake Casitas is down 60 feet, the lowest it's been since the early 1960's. I spent many days fishing over "Sunken Island" which is normally under 20 feet of water. Now it stands 40 feet above the surface and I can walk to it. This picture is from around 1962 and shows Sunken Island and part of the old highway which was abandoned when the lake began to fill. The water level today is at the same level.

I am glad you guys are finally getting rain. We would have gladly given you some of ours this summer. It rained well over half the weekends we had preventing us from going to the lake. I guess we are thankful not to have the problem all of the drought areas have.
