When to apply 303 Fabric guard on Sunbrella fabric....

Just had a Sunbrella custom playpen cover made. The water just beads up and rolls right off.  I asked the person who made it when I should treat the cover with 303. He said when the cover becomes extremely dirty and needs to undergo a thorough cleaning. That's when it would have to be applied to restore its water repellency........(A new cover does not need treating)


Which brings me to this question.........Do new Bennington boats come equipped with playpen covers and bimini tops made from Sunbrella fabric?!?

Yes, at least ours did, and I think that all do.

You just reminded me to send an email to my cover manufacture: Tumacs Covers.


I know it's not sunbrella, I had that with my previous open bow.  This material isn't as plush, more nylonish.
