This little DF150 just never stops amazing me.

Very quiet at all speeds, not just at idle

Smooth operation and seemingly bulletproof. The darn thing runs like a Swiss watch.

Economical. Good fuel mpg/gph for the HP.

STRONG performance! The acceleration and top speed of this Suzuki has been stellar.

Last night we were heading back to the launch, cruising just on plane along side our friend with his Manitou 25' Explode SHP w/300 Etec. He looked over at me and gave me "the look". We both hit the throttle at the same time. I fully expected to get a full view of that 300 decal as he drove away, but instead, the Suzuki's strong bottom end acceleration pulled a solid boat length or so ahead and was able to hold him off until I topped out before he came on past.

I checked the GPS..............45.1 mph. Dang, not bad for a Solas.

I had a Johnson Suzuki 50 efi 4-stroke on my last pontoon and it was a great little motor. I've heard great things about all of the DF engines. Of course good setup means a lot too!

I also had a Suzuki DF140. Smooth and quiet running motors.

I like Solas props......alot. They work very well right out of the box. They work even better with a bit of tweaking.
