Based on your description (pic would help), it sounds like you are talking about the button switch for the bimini frame ice blue lights. It’s a button on the bimini frame, and it only services to turn on and off the interior ice blue bimini frame lights for nighttime use. it does not power the masthead light. That is a separate switch on the dash, along with your navigation lights.

For clarity, you have power at railing connector for the ice blue bimini lights, yet pushing the frame button does not turn on your in frame Bimini lights? Maybe check if connections are clean at wire plug near railing/bimini frame? Wiring for those lights runs within the bimini frame.

I have the option, but only used it once the first year. I am not sure if you need other exterior lights turned on for those ones to also work, or if they are simply totally separate. The one time we used them, our navigation and anchor lights were on already. Maybe someon in here uses them periodically and can share. That said, my assumption is they are a totally wired independently.

Anyway, since the bimini is always down at night when we’ve been out on all other trips, we found it’s an option we could have forgone. The one time we got caught in light rain boating home at night that first year, we did test it and use it.

Oh…also, is your masthead (anchor light?) light not working either? That is a separate dash switch. FYI: there are breakers along your dash (the little black buttons). Have you tried all of them in case that is an issue with either or both sets of lights (in frame Bimini lights and the separate anchor light)? Separate from them, are your other nighttime lights working fine: navigation lights and docking lights?

The front lights work fine , masthead light does not work tried new bulb still not working ,do you know where wires run up to that tested for power at light but no power fuses are ok

I don’t know for certain. My understanding is they simply run up and through the bimini support arms/frame starting on the starboard/helm area connectors and then up to the light post. But I have no idea the details. FWIW: I am not at all knowledgeable with electrical items.

Many members around here are both knowledgeable and experienced with electrical issues in general, but also with their Bennington’s in particular. Hopefully some of them can respond to your specifics. If you checked fuses, then looking for inline circuite breakers or bad wires would probably be the next trouble shooting step. Hopefully some can give you some good advise to narrow down starting those trouble shooting processes. Good Luck!

I don't think a wiring diagram is going to provide what you're looking for but I could be wrong.

A fuse or breaker INSIDE the bimini frame makes for a very poor design so lets assume that's not the case. There should be power plugged into the base of the bimini (black and red connector) - you appear to have power here? If so, then can you test for continuity from the base socket to any of the light sockets?

My guess is there is a failed wire somewhere, bimini's just have fished wires running through the frame. Check all connections and if no continuity then it may have been cut or bent somewhere along the way.
