I just purchase a 2005 2025 LX Tri with a Yamaha 115 engine that needs a new battery.

Any suggestions on how best to access it without having to do some boat yoga in front of the engine? There is a battery switch under the boat seat cushion, but there doesn't seem to be a way to access the battery from there.

Here are some pictures. The first picture is where the battery switch is located and the other is where the battery is located by the engine. I'm not sure if you can access the battery where the battery switch is located . Thanks for your help!

I'm not familiar with that model but typically that battery case comes out, take off the cover and swap out the batt?

I'm not sure what I'm missing here. Tilt the battery box after the straps are off and pull the battery out

Looks like it should slide out after you remove the straps? Something isn't right? Missing something?
