Munson does a great job! That is where I picked up my Bennington last May. Unfortunately, my boat is still in storage with Munson. As long as the water levels increase I will see my boat on Apr 13th, and Munson installs my lift a week earlier on Apr 6th.
Not sure where you are boating, but...
Last name is Story, and we have three kids, so "Many Stories" is the name of the toon.
On the other boat we recently purchased the name is "Too Many Stories", because having more than one boat is just too many for most people.
It was hand painted by a painter that does this for a living for boats. I think the boat name and the registration numbers on each side of the boat cost a total of around 400 deer. If you are in the northern part of IL I can provide you the contact information.
Regarding the placement of the...
How did you wire them? On my Bennington the underneath is skinned from the foward to the aft. I guess you could use a snake to pull the wires, but I was hoping there is another easy way. I think the blue lights would look great when I have the bimini's blue LED lights on as well.
For what it is worth. I have the GCW with most of the R upgrades with the exception of the raised helm. The GCW was still cheaper than the RCW, and I don't regret going with the GCW. My two cents..
I personally hate Illinois, and would move to TN in a heartbeat if my wife would agree to it. I have family in Knoxville, and up at Fairfield Glade.
and now back to the boating discussion.
6 weeks before the toon goes in the water!
Check out www.funonthefox.com for more information. This is the main website for the Chain. You can register and post the same question to the boaters up there. Probably get the same feedback.
Now if you lived up here, I would say it is a great lake to be on. I don't tow, and just have toon...
I have both of my boats up there. The water depth varies alot. You could be in 3ft water at one moment, and 25ft in another. I like the lake, but no speed limit so you have the jet boats and bajas running around like idiots. Lots of bars and restaurants. One thing you will need to purchase...
Instead of painting the toons, have you looked at a lift? I didn't purchase a lift originally last year, but after seeing the "beard" grow on the toons, losing about 20mph, and paying to have the toons washed. I opted for a lift late in the year. Dealer in my area was having a closeout on the...
My two cents....
Twin toons with strakes will be fine, but if you encounter choppy water conditions your are going to wish you had the 3 tubes with the ESP. I have the 2574 GCW with ESP and the Yamaha 200 SHO and will hit about 40mph with a full load. Power steering and hydraulic assist is a...
