We purchased the original from Tumacs so they have all the specs. Seems high to replace it but that’s the price Mike gave us. I know we can rely on a quality fit. Our first one has disintegrated. We’ll go with the Sunbrella this time and take batter care of it.
I think it was intermittent in that the up switch on the throttle went out before the down switch went out.
More importantly ... a marine mechanic looked at it. The fuse was blown. Replacing that resulted in the ignition working, but the switch still didn't work.
Would anyone continue to...
She kept adjusting the trim. After another day or so, the up adjustment was intermittent. After awhile longer the trim didn't work and the ignition switch wouldn't start the boat. We were dead in the water with three kids. Three or four hours later we got a tow to the dock. This will cost...
I have a 2011 2274 Bennington with a Evinrude E-Tec. My partner likes to tow her grand kids around on a float while turning tight turns sometimes in choppy water. While doing this she sometimes changes the pitch of the motor. I think she lowers the pitch it in response to some cavortation in the...

If I have a complaint about an unresponsive Bennington dealer who is an Evinrude dealer (an Evinrude is on the Bennington I bought last September), would Bennington and/or Evinrude care? The dealer is unresponsive to my emails to two different people at the dealership. How should I best approach...
There are two holes in each of the compartments below the forward benches. I had thought they were drains, but it appears water does not flow through them. Screws are not readily available. These are not drains, are they?
Thanks.
