    third price increase

This is happening in all manufacturing industries. Good luck to those that think you can order an item that will be built in the future and have a guaranteed price. What you should have is a negotiated cancel order that insures you any down payment be returned if you decide to cancel your order...

    Yacht Club Trailer Rust

Unfortunately steel has a tendency to rust. Unless a steel metal structure is sealed such as powder coating, ect. Most are just painted and will ( sorry this is just how it works) rust. Galvanized or aluminum will be the only fix if rust is a problem. Rattle can of paint will work wonders.

should it be faster 2022 Benning ton rx sport 400 verado

Just have to wonder. When did pontoon boats become racing boats? If speed is the goal a hull designed for speed would make a whole lot more since than a Tritoon. I guess a Leap 1A from an Airbus A321 would be really cool. Should be able to get, say 500 mph with Bimini down and half fuel. LOL...

    Engine delays...question on switching 175 to 150hp

When we ordered our boat I wanted to put the 175hp on it and our dealer talked me out of it. The small amount of additional usable power wasn’t worth the extra cost. We have known the dealers family for some time and trusted their advise. I have never looked back. You made an excellent choice.

    Slalom Skiing Review

MrsT Sorry but I just have to respond to you experience. Not sure what kind of watercraft you skied behind in the past so I can’t know your past experience. First of all I have pulled two slalom skiers behind a 22’ Tritoon with a 150 hp Yamaha with absolutely no problem. I have pulled and have...

Removable Bow gate seat...do you use it?

So I have to retract my earlier post. As our family has expanded, we have started to use our bow seat. It lives in the port side door and is a welcome addition. Guess our initial thoughts on its initial purchase was correct. Great storage and a welcome seat under the Bimin.

    Yamaha 150 vs Mercury 150

Bill and Ena, Sorry this happened, I will say either power plant beats a paddle. LOL. Good luck and hope you are on the water sooner rather than later.

Weighed the tongue weight of our rig, shocked!

Please don’t take this wrong. :)) Ram 3500, problem solved. Glad to see you are concerned and are doing the research. Towing a trailer is no small thing. An unbalanced trailer can be a real problem even for a large truck. Just keep in mind you are towing a large sail. Wind is our crafts biggest...

Started this year with a different.....

Sorry just can’t resist. Read an article little while back and learned, and I have also observed that the truck of choice of the professional RV delivery folks is well, the 2500 Ram with a Cummins. The Aisin transmission has been a game changer. My last 2005 Ram had well over 200,000 miles on...

    2014 24SCWX

If you want to know if the SCWX with a 150 hp and SPS is a sweet ride, well I’m a bit jaded because that is what I have. If it has been taken care of and you want a floor plan that works really well, in today’s market it might be worth negotiating with the dealer. As far as water skiing you will...

    23LSR w/ 200HP

AZthinker, I can pull two slalom skiers out of the water with ease With a Yamaha 150. The fact is it will snap the rope out of both skiers if you don’t ease them out of the water. Keep in mind our water craft don’t really plane out like a deep v or ski boat. What you would need to be aware of is...
