I have been faithful adding the Yamaha Ring Free and Fuel Stabilizer in my F150. However, circumstances have me not using the Pontoon as often. So the concern is how long can I safely go between fill ups?

What additional benefits to the washdown system is if you have a sink in your mini the sink will be pressurized by the washdown pump. Otherwise you have a hand pump system for the sink. We have both in our 22 SSX and we use them all the time. I wouldn’t be without it.

Bill, for me it happens once I get on a plane, about 15mph. That lifts the pump out of the water.

I have a Wave Tamer so I can’t actually see what’s under the rail. But looking at the front rail there are no fasteners on either corner.

Here’s the issue I believe we both have to overcome… This red arrow is the distance we need to overcome in order to get water at high speed running. On my Benny this measured about 2-1/2”.

That’s an interesting idea. But be sure the scoop sits below the bottom of the pontoon tube. Kinda like the issue with the Transducer. My transducer was set too high so it would stop working once at speed. Getting it lowered mostly fixed the issue. Please keep me posted on your progress.

I believe you are correct. Obviously looking at the above photos it is not rust. So the next assumption is that the discoloration would be from the glue. I’m thinking about just cleaning this area up and dab a small amount of paint over the corroded areas and them apply new tape.

UPDATE: I cut away the covering and was quite surprised at what I saw. There was a white crystal like material under the covering. At first I thought it was Salt, but it had no taste. There was a considerable amount of this stuff considering how little the corroded area was. See the two...

This is how my livewell pump sits. My thinking is to somehow flood this box when the Benny is planeing. So by cutting a hole in the bottom and attaching a 90 degree 1” electrical conduit fastened directly under the pump should adequately flood this area at high speed??????
